Access to hand-on labs, small classes, and one-on-one faculty mentored research gives our students the tools they need to advance in their careers. They grow their professional network with access to alumni, real world clinical work experience, and internships.
Our highly competitive nursing program is recognized as a top accredited program, while also being ranked as one of the most affordable in PA. In addition to a rigorous academic program, students complete extensive clinical work and get hands on experience in the Simulated Learning Lab (SLL) to complete simulated clinical scenarios using medium and high-fidelity manikins as they develop critical thinking skills and confidence in their ability to work under pressure.
Students studying Communication and Science Disorders work with state of the art technology, diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. Graduate students get real-world clinical experience while also serving the local community by providing treatment to children and adults at the Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic which is open five days a week.
