Gifts to Lambda Pi Eta (LPH) contribute to...
Lambda Pi Eta (LPH) is the National Communication Association’s official honor society that is available to students who have worked hard to achieve a high cumulative GPA across their Communication Studies courses. Our honor society promotes and encourages professional development among our students. We also focus on building close relationships among students through interactions during meetings and department events.
LPH would love to receive financial support for our general meetings and annual campus events. Typically held in the fall semesters is the Speakers' Forum where students who are competitively selected by their Public Speaking professors showcase their exemplary public speaking skills on a variety of topics. In the spring semesters, LPH hosts the Research Colloquium which is a contest that invites students to submit research-based papers from their Communication Studies classes from the past academic year. The submissions are then reviewed anonymously by faculty in the department. Each reviewer ranks the submissions based on the quality of writing and their overall scholarly contributions, and the students with the top overall rankings are selected to present their research at the Colloquium.
LPH humbly asks for your support in helping our highly engaged Communication Studies students excel in their academics to be the most successful individuals and professionals that they can be!
Thank you in advance for your support!
