The Bloomsburg softball team has left its competitive mark on the game since its inaugural season in 1977. The team competes at Jan M. Hutchinson Field, holding the namesake of longtime head coach, Jan Hutchinson (1978-2010).
The Bloomsburg softball program is under the leadership of head coach Susan Kocher, currently in her 14th season at the helm. In total, the program has claimed 16 PSAC titles while making 35 NCAA Regional appearances, 12 Super Regional Appearances and 11 trips to the final weekend.
