The Bloomsburg field hockey team has enjoyed historic success since first fielding a team in 1974. The Huskies have 18 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championships and 16 NCAA Championships, including four in a row two separate times (1996-1999 and 2006-2009).
The Huskies play at Steph Pettit Stadium and are under the leadership of 14th-year head coach Nikki Hartranft. Hartranft is no stranger to the Huskies success as she has a pair of PSAC Championships as a coach and three as a player and was a three-time NFHCA All-American.
