Women's Water Polo

The Biola Athletics Community is BOLD. We have student-athletes and staff who stand firm in their Christian Beliefs, seize Opportunities for growth, Lead with courage and have a never-ending Drive to succeed.

Our Women's Water Polo team exemplifies this by competing with integrity, growing in faith, and pushing beyond our limits in and out of the water. From rigorous training and intense competition to fostering deep spiritual growth and academic excellence, we embody what it means to be BOLD in all aspects of life.

Heading into the 2025 season, our team proudly holds back-to-back WWPA Championship titles, establishing ourselves as a high-level collegiate program in a relatively short time. We’ve also soared to new heights, earning a national ranking over the past two years and appearing in the NCAA Tournament. Our athletes do not only strive for victory in the pool, but they also pursue personal development that glorifies God and prepares them for life beyond college.

Your gifts during Athletics Week of Giving (AWOG) in previous years have helped us purchase essential team gear, including team robes, travel bags, and provide additional meals for our athletes. Moreover, your support contributed to memorable experiences such as our championship rings and upcoming travel in 2025 to compete in Hawaii against some of the best NCAA water polo teams.

We are committed to continuing to provide these impactful opportunities for our student-athletes, and with your support, we can reach even greater heights. Your giving supports travel for elite competitions. We are blessed with opportunities for our athletes to compete against top NCAA programs, which helps them grow both personally and as a team. Our travels have taken us to Arizona, Stanford, and Fresno, and in 2025, we will be heading to Hawaii! Your donations will ensure our team can participate in these incredible experiences, enhancing their development as student-athletes.

Your donations can enhance team bonding and faith development. We proudly continue our tradition of devotionals and spiritual check-ins, which strengthen our relationships with God and each other. Looking ahead, we are setting a long-term goal to participate in our first-ever team missions trip, where we hope to engage in faith and community service while experiencing new parts of the world.
