Men's Swim & Dive

The Biola Athletics Community is BOLD. We have student-athletes and staff who stand firm in their Christian Beliefs, seize Opportunities for growth, Lead with courage and have a never-ending Drive to succeed.

Our Men's Swim & Dive team exemplifies this by gathering for prayer before and after training and competitions. Through intentional prayer and gathering opportunities like team Bible studies, our student-athletes are able to stand firm in their Christian beliefs. Our student-athletes are also able to keep Christ at the center of our endeavors while encouraging their teammates to stay grounded in their faith.

Athletes take advantage of opportunities for both spiritual and academic growth, such as leading Bible studies or volunteering with student groups like Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Our Swim and Dive family has a built-in community on campus where our students are encouraged to actively seek mentorship, engage in leadership programs, or participate in academic and athletic development opportunities to continuously grow beyond just being athletes.

Whether it's pushing through a grueling training session or supporting one another through tough losses, the team strive to lead with courage. Their collective drive to succeed is exemplified through setting ambitious goals, like breaking school records or qualifying for NCAA championships, while holding each other accountable both in and out of the pool. These actions demonstrate their unyielding determination and leadership.

This year during Athletics Week of Giving, we are counting YOU to help empower our community to continue moving forward with boldness, working towards success in our sports, but even more so in developing towards the people God has called us to be.

Your gifts during Athletics Week of Giving will help us work towards permanent bleacher shade, travel trip expenses, assistant coach salary support, training equipment and team-bonding events.
