Gifts to Hope Squad contribute to...
Last year, the Billings area lost 12 students in grades 6โ12 to suicide. Our students live, learn, and grow together. They know each other, care about each other, and often recognize when something is wrong before an adult does. What if they also knew how to help?
Hope Squad would bring a proactive, student-centered approach to suicide prevention and mental health support at our school. Through this established program, selected students are trained to be peer-to-peer connectors—not counselors. They learn to recognize warning signs, respond with care, and connect a friend who may be struggling with a trusted adult who can provide the right support.
For $3,000, we can launch the Hope Squad program at our high school with the structure, curriculum, training, and resources needed to equip both students and adult advisors. More importantly, it gives our school a sustainable framework for continuing suicide-prevention education, reducing the stigma around asking for help, and strengthening the sense of belonging and connection among our students.
Your gift can help us create a school where students know they are not alone—where they know how to recognize when a friend needs help, who to turn to, and that speaking up can make a difference.
Give Hope. Build Connection. Save Lives.
Help us raise the funds to bring Hope Squad to our students.
