Men's Soccer

Greetings one and all!

I haven't quite completed year one leading the program I helped start as a player way back in 1992 (yes, I'm old) and it has been an honor to work with these young men, through good times and not so good times. While our record this past season certainly wasn't what we had wanted, I can be completely honest when I tell you that we have a fantastic group of young men here! They are setting the foundations on and off of the field to bring this program back to the top of the KCAC.

Our goal as a team is to be the best STUDENT-athletes we can be, to represent the foundations and continue the traditions that started this program years ago. In order to fully do that, they need your support. We have all seen the cost of higher education climb higher and higher each year, while budgets for schools and teams often trend the other direction. Your gift to the Champions Fund will directly contribute to the success of our student-athletes by supporting equipment upgrades, travel, pre/post-game meals, team apparel, and other meaningful parts of the student-athlete experience. In my 20+ years as a college coach, I've seen the impact having the proper gear, equipment, and apparel can make in the success of a program. I have big plans for this program and will be excited to share all of those updates as we accomplish them.

In a little more than a month, our team will continue the tradition of helping run the youth soccer program here in Lindsborg. If you want to see the impact these young men have on the community, I highly encourage you to come and watch games and/or practices and see for yourself. You will make a difference in the lives of our students with your gift to the Champions Fund and become an inaugural member of the Bethany College Athletics Association.
