Ways to Support
There are four funds you can get behind this year:
- Career Catalyst Fund: Many programs require students to purchase tools, equipment, or materials needed to be successful. However, sometimes the costs can be too much for students which can discourage them from enrolling in a program or continuing their education. The Career Catalyst Fund is a programmatic fund whose purpose is to support students with purchasing tools, equipment, or materials that they need so that they can succeed in their classes and get a jump start on starting their careers.
- Fuel the Mission: Every mission needs fuel. Behind every scholarship, emergency grant, and student success story is a network of systems and tools that keep us connected and moving forward. Fuel the Mission is our unrestricted fund that supports the essential — but often unseen — work that makes giving possible: email platforms that reach our alumni, printed materials that inspire support, and the tools that help us tell our story far and wide. At a college rooted in the trades, we know nothing runs without fuel. Your gift here doesn’t just help; it multiplies impact across every corner of campus.
- General Scholarships: For students, receiving a scholarship isn't just about the money – it's about validation. It's about knowing that someone believes in their potential and wants to help them succeed. Your generosity can turn dreams into reality and transform the lives of our students for years to come.
- Student Emergency Grant Fund: The Student Emergency Fund provides a lifeline for students in crisis and demonstrates our commitment to caring for every student at NTC. Together, we can ensure that all students have the opportunity to succeed, regardless of the challenges they may encounter. These funds are designed to provide immediate assistance to students experiencing crises such as medical emergencies, housing insecurity, sudden loss of income, or other unexpected financial challenges. These funds can help cover essential expenses like rent, groceries, medical bills, transportation, and more, allowing students to stay afloat during the most difficult of times.
