Your generous donation to the School of Music helps fund an international tour for The Bemidji Choir, visiting central Europe in May 2027, covering essential travel and lodging costs while providing a transformative musical and cultural experience for students. Your gift also supports ensemble touring that offers experiential learning beyond campus performances, helping students grow artistically through regional and statewide experiences. Touring ensembles, including The Bemidji Choir, BSU Wind Ensemble, and BSU Jazz Band, engage new audiences while representing Bemidji State across the region.
These tours are essential to student success and serve as one of the School of Music’s most visible recruitment tools, aligning with the BSU Strategic Plan and the For the North campaign. As rising costs for instrument maintenance, tuning, repairs, and sheet music place added strain on the budget, donor support helps sustain this essential opportunity for students. Our goal is to raise $30,000 in total donations.
