Student Emergency Fund

Will you be a lifeline for a student in need?

The Student Emergency Fund enables the College to provide immediate assistance to Baruch students facing unexpected short-term financial difficulties that jeopardizes their ability to continue or complete their education.

Examples of short-term financial difficulties:

• Temporary loss of employment
• Loss of housing or childcare
• Theft of computer, books, or other essential belongings
• Medical bills for uninsured necessary appointments
• Eyeglasses or essential dental work
• Travel home for illness or death in the immediate family
• Immigration emergency
• Winter coat or interview suit
• Food or transportation

Unexpected financial hardships should not stand in the way of a student's education. We need your help to ensure that every student in need has access to emergency assistance before the new academic year starts on July 1st.
