🏃🏽‍➡️ Marvin Argueta is running the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon! 🏃🏽


This year, he’s going the distance for The Baruch College Fund, a cause that helps provide scholarships, enhance student experiences, and open doors to life-changing opportunities.

🎓 Marvin graduated Cum Laude from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business in 2021 with a B.B.A. in Computer Information Systems. As a first-generation college student, Baruch gave him the community, mentorship, and opportunities that helped shape his personal and professional journey.

While balancing part-time work, internships, and leadership positions across student organizations and student government, Marvin co-founded Baruch’s Consult Your Community (CYC) chapter, a national student-led pro-bono consulting organization. Through CYC, students support local businesses in NYC while developing leadership, consulting, and professional skills of their own.

💼 Today, Marvin works at EY as a Technology Consultant and has since relocated to Los Angeles. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active through CrossFit, hiking, tennis, and snowboarding, though running remains one of his biggest passions. As a former high school track athlete, he now runs with his local running group in Downtown Los Angeles and continues mentoring students through CYC.

Running the TCS New York City Marathon has been a long-time goal of his, inspired by friends and peers who have taken on the challenge themselves. He is excited to push himself beyond his comfort zone, embrace the discipline and resilience that marathon training requires, and achieve this milestone alongside the Baruch community.
