Each year, thousands of Baruch students juggle full course loads, part-time jobs, and family obligations—many while facing food insecurity.
The Bearcat Food Pantry officially opened in 2023 (launched in 2022) to provide students with something too many take for granted: a reliable source of food.
To date, the Pantry has served more than 4,700 students, distributing a rotating selection of dry goods, dairy, and frozen meats, including Kosher and Halal options. But with demand rising, our shelves are emptying faster than ever.
