The Augsburg Asian Student Association (AASA), History Department, Hmong Women Together (HWT), and Pan-Asian Student Services (PASS) of Augsburg University are excited to present the first ever Pan-Asian Spring Break Seminar: Asian American Identities in New York City! This will be an experiential learning trip, where students will have the opportunity to explore Asian American identities and history. We will have excursions in various neighborhoods, institutions, and sites that have held historic impact on Asian communities.
Given the demographics of our students, studying away from home is often a challenging system to navigate - whether it's studying abroad or out of their home state. With this trip, students will have an opportunity to study away, in a new environment. They will gain a deeper understanding of self through the excursions and reflection while building community with their peers.
We are excited for this inaugural spring break seminar and appreciate support of any size! Your gift will enable students to share a lifetime experience.
Thank you for your support of Augsburg University's Give to the Max Day! Thanks to you and 1,566 other friends of Augsburg, we were able to raise $417,846 for projects across campus. We are blown away by your generosity and excited to see your donations in action.
Go Auggies!
