PRSSA— Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA)

The PRSSA club is open to students of any major who are interested in public relations and communications and currently has eight active members who are communication and marketing majors. Both the national organization and our local chapter provide Ashland students with unmatched opportunities for professional development and networking. We organize events, trips, and other activities to help our members enhance their education, broaden their professional networks, and launch their careers in public relations and marketing communications

In 2023, our members attended the PRSSA Leadership Assembly in Scottsdale, Arizona, and the ICON2023 international conference in Nashville, Tennessee, where they had the opportunity to hear from top communication and media professionals, learn about the latest industry trends and network with peers and professionals. Our members are hoping to raise funds to attend national conferences and regional events, bring guest speakers to campus, make connections with potential employers, and grow their chapter.
