Faculty Excellence

Spalding faculty inspire our students in and out of the classroom, teaching more than just lessons found in a textbook.

Since 1966, Archbishop Spalding High School has been committed to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and educating the whole person—spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically. Great teachers do more than teach—they challenge students to think deeply, guide them in faith, and inspire them to discover what they are capable of achieving.

Your support for Faculty Development and Excellence directly fuels:

• Academic & Instructional Leadership, empowering our 150+ faculty members—over two-thirds of whom hold advanced degrees and over 30% of whom are Spalding alumni—with ongoing professional development
• Support for spiritual retreats and faith-centered workshops that embody our motto, "One in Christ," ensuring educators model Catholic values and character formation in every classroom.
• A low student-to-faculty ratio, giving teachers the resources to mentor students individually and help graduates go on to top colleges and universities.
• Curricular Innovation & Conference Engagement so our educators can attend national conferences, implementing cutting-edge classroom technology and bringing the latest pedagogical practices back to our Severn campus.

When you support our faculty, you invest in the dedicated educators, mentors, and alumni who challenge, guide, and inspire our Cavaliers every day.
