The Black Alumni Alliance Book Award provides $500 book scholarships to high-achieving undergraduate students who demonstrate strong academic performance and meaningful engagement through leadership, service, and community involvement. These awards help offset the cost of required course materials, allowing students to focus on learning and academic success.
Since 2015, the Black Alumni Alliance Book Award has supported nearly a dozen students in their educational pursuits at American University. Gifts to this fund allow alumni and friends to directly invest in student success by reducing financial barriers and recognizing students who contribute positively to the AU community.
