Gifts to Club Men's Rugby contribute to...
We will utilize the funds that we raise to access higher quality training facilities and playing fields closer to the University. Additionally, your support will help cover transportation costs and new training equipment. As a recently reestablished club, we have been restricted to practicing locally at Fort Reno Park. We hope to have access to better facilities and build off an undefeated spring season last year. Additionally, our current “home field” is across the Potomac at Gravelly Point. With additional funds we would like to find a field closer to campus for ease of access for players and fans alike.
- With our recent success, it is our goal to win our conference and clinch a bid to the National Small College Championship. We are training hard to make this a reality, and any additional support will help us overcome the financial hurdles that stand in our way.
- Finally, Rugby is a very physical wear-and-tear sport. Through the accumulation of practices, much of our training equipment has grown worn. New equipment is a returning priority for us in order to continue teaching new players and hone our skills. AURFC would appreciate any and all donations as we continue to grow and expand the club!
- “We want to extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who has donated to our cause. Your generosity allows us to propel the club forward and we couldn’t do it without recognizing the friends, fans, and family that we play for. Thank you.” - Eddie Rogers
