Fundraising for our team can make hockey accessible for students at American. Since the cost of the sport is expensive, the cost to play is a significant barrier for students who want to join the team. Fundraising can help the program provide financial support for players who cannot afford the team dues, relieve travel costs for the team since most games are several hours away, and help provide uniforms for new players joining the team.
