I am excited to introduce myself - Nicole Mattfeld - as the new Director of Choirs at Alma College! I so respect and admire the legacy and tradition of excellent choral singing and sense of community that has existed in Alma Choirs under Dr. Nichols for the past 40 years. I wanted to ease some minds that many of his traditions will be kept intact, including the Alumni Choir at Homecoming, the international tours to Scotland, and of course the beloved singing of Loch Lomond.
As Alumni, one of the ways that you can support the choral department is by making a gift. Gifts help fund the annual choir tours - both local, national, and international. These tours help us recruit more students to experience the magic of Alma and allow the choir to share their wonderful music far and wide!
Your support will be instrumental in making this transition as seamless and impactful as possible. Here are other ways you can help:
