Support A Scot

Through the Support a Scot Fund, you can provide financial assistance to Alma College students during times of unexpected financial need. Your support assists students when they need it most, enabling them to stay in school and continue toward degree completion.

Recent Support A Scot recipients reflect: 

"The Support a Scot Fund represents a beacon of hope for me, receiving it at a pivotal moment in my academic journey. Without it, I was at risk of withdrawing from college and having to return to my home country in Zimbabwe instead of progressing into my final year. The $3,000 grant allowed me to clear the outstanding balance that had been preventing me from registering for classes. With a sickly father and a graduate student mother, that grant restored my hope in completing my degree without financial barriers.

I am deeply grateful for this support—not only did it alleviate a significant financial burden, but also reaffirmed Alma’s commitment to supporting students graduate and go on to think critically, serve generously, lead purposefully, and live responsibly.
