Spirit Squad

Your gift makes a direct, meaningful impact on the Alma College Scot student-athlete experience.

Spirit Squad developed at Alma College in the winter of 2017 and now provides 25 student-athletes with the opportunity to cheer at the collegiate level. Alma College Spirit Squad can be seen on the sidelines and at halftime of every home men’s and women’s basketball game in Hogan Center’s Art Smith Arena. Spirit Squad values community and is devoted to fostering volunteerism efforts and activities for youth. Most recently, Spirit Squad participated in:

• Make Alma Beautiful: team members planted flowers, discarded trash, weeds and yard clippings around the city of Alma and local schools.
• Victory Day: a day devoted to scoring touchdowns with special education athletes on Bahlke field.
• Young Champions: an after-school program at His Place for Alma’s youth.
• Youth Cheer Clinic: youth from the community were invited to join us for a clinic and on the sideline!
