The Alma College football team concluded their 2024 season with an 8-2 record. This upcoming season, the team looks continue growing and winning. In the previous two seasons, they made back-to-back playoff appearances.

Some highlights of the season include:

• Albion 40-30 - This game was highlighted by honoring the great teams of 1999 and 2002 and it’s always special to beat the “purple” team.
• Olivet 65-14 - A victory dominated by all phases of the team.
• Trine 41-16 - This was a great game to honor our seniors in their final home game. Both offense and defense continued where we left off against Olivet.
• Kalamazoo 51-13 - Back on the road for the first time in a month and we didn’t miss a beat.
• Adrian 31-7 - Another impressive road win. The Scots have not lost on the road since November 2021!

From Coach Couch: I hope you’ll join me in making a donation to the football program. Donations this year will go to pay for our sideline video streaming service and practice technology. In 2024, the NCAA passed legislation that allowed DIII schools to use iPads on the sideline and in the booth. Although the devices are not cheap, the bulk of the cost comes from the annual streaming fee. We have also added practice technology. These “iPhone-like” devices are worn by our scout players. The devices instantly show them where they are supposed to line up for the next play and what their assignment is. This allows us to run a faster tempo practice and get more reps in. Your donation is greatly appreciated and will assist us in staying competitive.
