Religious Studies at Alma College offers students a transdisciplinary approach to understanding religion, focusing on the impact of systems of oppression such as racism, colonialism, patriarchy, and queer/trans antagonism on people's lived experiences. This broad, intersectional perspective enriches students' academic journeys, making the minor an ideal complement to majors in fields such as political science, English, philosophy, sociology, psychology, education, women’s and gender studies, and healthcare administration.
