Gifts to History contribute to...
Alma College’s History Program offers students a rich, interdisciplinary understanding of the economic, social, political, and technological factors shaping human behavior and historical events. With a flexible curriculum, students can tailor their academic pathway, exploring topics ranging from world history to specialized areas such as public health, religion, and immigration.
Beyond the classroom, students gain practical experience through research opportunities, internships, and immersive global experiences, often supported by the Posey Global Fellowship or Venture grants. Spring Term classes also allow students to travel to locations like China, London, and Mexico, enhancing their academic and cultural perspectives.
Your support will help expand these opportunities, providing students with the resources to pursue research, internships, and international experiences that deepen their understanding of history and its relevance in today’s world. Investing in the History Program will empower students to become informed, global citizens and leaders.
