About

This year, the Department of Computer and Information Science is launching its Sustain. Attain. Train. campaign to strengthen innovation, student success, and community impact. Our goal is to raise $15,000 to support three key initiatives:

🔁Sustain — The 2nd Annual Gatorverse Hackathon ($5,000)

Help us sustain the excitement and creativity of our hackathon, scheduled for this spring. Last year, Into the Gatorverse brought together students from multiple disciplines to design technology-based projects guided by industry mentors. We are seeking support this year to cover the core event costs (food, prizes, swag) so the hackathon can run again this spring.

🚀Attain — Student Projects ($5,000)

Support our students as they attain new heights through hands-on, impactful computing projects. Donations directly fund the students, tools, resources, and mentorship needed for learners to transform their ideas into real-world solutions — from software prototypes to data-driven applications.

🤝Train — Community Outreach ($5,000)

Through outreach initiatives like Code with Chompers, we train the next generation of young thinkers to explore technology with curiosity and confidence. Your gift helps us expand access to computing education in the community, inspiring future coders, creators, and problem-solvers.

💙💛Together, we can sustain our progress, attain excellence, and train the future technologists.💛💙
