On Tuesday, November 30, 2021, Albright Athletics will compete in the Giving Tuesday MAC Athletics Fundraising Challenge against five other Middle Atlantic Conference schools, including Hood, FDU-Florham, Stevenson, Messiah, and Arcadia. At Albright, athletics is more than just an extracurricular activity--it promotes teams' spirit and camaraderie, provides leadership and personal growth opportunities, and supports all of our student-athletes in the classroom as well as on the court, field, and fairway. Every dollar donated to the Lion Pride Athletic Fund or any of our 24 Division III teams directly benefits our student-athletes. We hope you will support our ROAR in this challenge - we are competing for the ever important bragging rights of having the most dollars or donors in this 24 hour competition!
What is Giving Tuesday?
Created in 2012 by two nonprofit organizations—the 92nd Street Y and the United Nations Foundation—Giving Tuesday celebrates the spirit and generosity of the great American tradition of giving back. Held each year on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday is aimed at kicking off the charitable holiday season.
#GivingTuesday offers Albrightians a way to join in the spirit of #GivingTuesday by making a gift that will benefit our students today and tomorrow, both on and off the field.
