Panther Pantry

On this global day of generosity, the Adelphi family came together to support each other and our local communities. Together, we unlocked $29,250 in matching gifts and surpassed our goal, raising more than $89,000 for Panthers in need.

It’s nearing midnight here in Garden City, but GivingTuesday isn’t over just yet. We’ve extended our campaign to give those on the west coast, and around the globe, the chance to join us with their support. 

An anonymous alumna is challenging the student community to come together and support one another on GivingTuesday. If 75 students donate toward Adelphi's $75,000 goal, she will donate $10,000 to the Adelphi Fund to impact each and every student. Every student's gift—no matter the size or cause it supports—will help unlock her challenge and make a big difference on GivingTuesday.

Trustee Kevin G. Mahony '83 is matching gifts to the Panther Pantry, dollar for dollar, up to $2,500. Now your GivingTuesday gift will help twice as many Panthers struggling with food insecurity this winter.

When the unexpected happens, the Student Emergency Support Fund is there to help. A Trustee will be matching gifts, dollar for dollar, up to $2,500, to support Adelphi students in crisis. Your gift will go twice as far in helping the Panthers who need it most on GivingTuesday. 

The Adelphi Fund is a lifeline for the University. In gratitude for their Adelphi education, two married alumni are giving back to the University that has given them so much. They will be matching donations to the Adelphi Fund, dollar for dollar, up to $12,000 on GivingTuesday.  

Trustee Ronald B. Lee ’67 will be matching $1,250 in donations, dollar for dollar, to Adelphi’s NY State Breast Cancer Hotline and Support Program. With his support, your GivingTuesday contribution will provide even more vital resources to women and men fighting breast cancer.
