One Day. One Doane. - Battle of the Decades - 2025

"One Day. One Doane." our 24-hour day of giving for Doane is back! From 10 a.m. to 10 a.m. on March 19-20, join the entire Doane Community and show your support for Doane by making a gift to the Doane Fund. Gifts of all sizes will count toward our goal of achieving 400 donors in 24 hours. The "Battle of the Decades" is back again! This twist encourages the different decades to rally together and raise money for Doane as one, to see who will be the Champion of the Decades.

The Doane Fund is the cornerstone of philanthropy at Doane, supporting: financial aid and scholarships, faculty & staff salaries and development, academics, athletics, fine arts, and campus life - everything that makes Doane, DOANE.

BONUS: When 400 donors demonstrate their support by making a gift during "One Day. One Doane.", we will unlock $75,000 for the Doane Fund from the Doane Board of Trustees.

With power outages and chaos, our One Day. One Doane. campaign hit a bit of a snag. But Tigers are nothing if not resilient! 🐅💪

So, we’re extending the campaign until 5 p.m. (CDT) today to give everyone a chance to regroup, recharge, and rally for Doane! There’s still time to make an impact and help us finish strong!

Hey, Doane Tigers! 🐅 The Battle of the Decades is heating up, and we need YOUR decade to roar louder... so reach out to your friends!

Here's where we stand:

• 1940s & 50s: 2 donors (9%) – Come on, let's rally the troops! 🎖️

• 1960s: 9 donors (28%) – Groovy start, but let's amp it up! ✌️

• 1970s: 13 donors (17%) – Time to boogie to the top! 🕺

• 1980s: 32 donors (42%) – Totally tubular! Keep that momentum! 🎸

• 1990s: 19 donors (20%) – Let's get jiggy with it and boost those numbers! 🕶️

• 2000s: 22 donors (18%) – Let's make the aughts awesome! 🎉

• 2010s-2024: 22 donors (16%) – Recent grads, show your pride! 🎓

• Doane Supporters (Current Students, Friends, Faculty, Staff, and Parents): 33 donors (22%) – You're the backbone! Please keep it coming! 💪

Remember, when we hit 400 donors, we unlock a generous $75,000 from the Board of Trustees! 💰 We're currently at 185 donors (46% of our goal) with $21,023 raised and 16 hours left. ⏰
