Gifts to Art History and Visual Culture contribute to...
The Art History and Visual Culture Department at St. Thomas explores the many dimensions of art in a broad range of periods and worldwide cultures. Our students seek to become investigators, learning to ask and answer questions about art, from pottery to painting, from bronzes to buildings. Students are encouraged to conduct independent research and to present their findings to a broader audience and to make art accessible inside and outside of the classroom. For students of art history, the world is our laboratory! The experience of studying art, museums and the built environment enriches students' engagement with the world. Your support will provide invaluable opportunities for our students to explore the world through a visual lens.
We are grateful for your generosity!
