The WT Spirit Program represents West Texas A&M University through three dynamic groups: the Gameday Squad, Pom Squad, and our suited mascot, Bucky the Buffalo. Together, these teams serve as ambassadors for the university by supporting athletics, engaging the community, and elevating the game day experience for Buff Nation.

Our program is currently fundraising to support our return to the NCA & NDA College Nationals in Daytona Beach for April 2027. After earning a 5th-place national finish in 2026, our team is motivated to build on that success and continue competing among the top collegiate spirit programs in the country.

At Nationals, our program collaborates with the WTAMU Drumline to create a high-energy performance that showcases school spirit, precision, and creativity. This unique partnership highlights the full spirit experience of WT and allows our program to represent the university on a national stage in a way that is distinctly our own.

Fundraising efforts directly support travel, lodging, competition fees, uniforms, and performance production costs. Every donation helps us continue this tradition of excellence and gives ourstudents the opportunity to compete, perform, and proudly bring Buff spirit to Daytona Beach once again.
