Celebrating 20 Years of Solstice

The Solstice MFA in Creative Writing Program celebrates its 20^th anniversary in July 2026. Since its inception, Solstice has committed itself to offering need-based scholarships to reduce the financial barriers to earning a graduate writing degree. Two decades later, we remain steadfast in that mission, with scholarship awards now up to $5,000 per eligible student. We don't plan to stop there. We're working toward a future of full funding for at least one Solstice student annually. With your help, we can achieve this long-term goal. Donors who give $150 or more will be entered into a giveaway to receive one of two Lasell University Solstice MFA Program prize packs, each of which includes a signed, limited edition broadside from Director Meg Kearney, a Solstice hoodie, an anniversary anthology showcasing the work of alumni and faculty, and a Lasell University tote, mug, and other items!
