Athletics

At Case Western Reserve, we believe that exercise benefits the body and mind. The Department of Physical Education and Athletics offers varsity, club, and intramural sports, as well as a wide array of activity courses. Also, health and wellness conscious students, faculty and staff utilize multiple athletic facilities, full of cardio equipment and weight training equipment in Wyant Wellness and Athletic Center. In Veale Convocation and Athletic Center you’ll find two indoor pools, a multi-purpose space featuring a track, basketball, volleyball, badminton and pickleball and tennis court, a rock climbing, cardio and weight training equipment.

Case Western Reserve University Spartans compete in Division III varsity athletics. More than 600 students participate in 19 varsity sports, including football, basketball, swimming and diving, baseball, softball, track and field, volleyball, cross country, tennis, soccer and wrestling.
