Crimson Greyson Veritas, affectionately known as Grady, came to the University of Indianapolis in the fall of 2019. Before him, UIndy did not have a live mascot program for nearly forty years. Since his debut, Grady has provided comfort, joy, and spirit everywhere he has gone. He is the true embodiment of what it means to be a UIndy Greyhound. He is determined, curious, kind, and loyal. He serves our community by providing a sense of comfort, pride, and, most importantly, a sense of “home” on campus. Thanks to your support, we can create a lasting legacy for our mascot program and formally introduce Crimson Greyson Veritas II.
Every time you see Grady the Greyhound — smiling for pictures, saying hello to crowds, or repping that Crimson and Grey — that appearance is made possible by generous gifts and sponsors. No student tuition dollars support the UIndy Live Mascot Program.
