ℹ️About

Our R’Garden needs your help today!

The R’Garden is a living classroom, a food source, and a community hub. Since 2012, it has provided UC Riverside students, staff, and local families with:

  • Access to fresh produce
  • Hands-on learning in sustainable agriculture
  • A place to connect with nature and each other

From supporting the Basic Needs R’Pantry to partnering with local food banks, the R’Garden helps combat food insecurity while educating the next generation of leaders on the importance of environmental stewardship and food equity.

Why We Need You

In Spring 2025, a referendum to fund R’Garden with student fees did not pass. While the UCR Office of the Provost and the College of Natural & Agricultural Sciences (CNAS) provided bridge funding to keep R’Garden running in the 2025-2026 academic year, this only sustains operations at a limited scale. With your support, R’Garden can expand its programming, reach more students, and continue serving as a vital resource of fresh food, education, and community.

Your Impact

With your gift to the R’Garden, you make it possible to:

  • Deliver fresh produce to students and families facing food insecurity
  • Sustain R’Garden as a hub for hands-on learning, wellness, and community
  • Empower students to become leaders in sustainability and food equity

Give today to keep R’Garden thriving, and help plant the seeds for a healthier, more sustainable tomorrow.
