Support Our International Jazz Performance

The NC State Jazz Orchestra, along with select members of the Jazz Program and Symphonic Band, will embark on a historic performance tour of Greece this summer. This is a transformative opportunity for our students to share their artistry on an international stage, immerse themselves in a rich musical culture, and represent the excellence of the Wolfpack community abroad.

Our student musicians work tirelessly to perfect their craft. Now, we need your help to ensure they have the tools to succeed. While our talent is ready to travel, the logistical costs of transporting instruments overseas are significant.

We are calling on our alumni community to bridge the gap. We need to raise $5,000 to cover the essential costs of equipment rentals and freight fees for our instruments. Your support directly empowers our students to focus on what they do best, performing, without the burden of logistical expenses.

Why Support the Jazz Program?

  • Empower Student Musicians: Give our students the platform to showcase their talent internationally.
  • Expand Our Legacy: Help us extend NC State's cultural impact far beyond campus borders.
  • Direct Impact: Your contribution goes immediately toward the tangible needs of this tour, ensuring our students have the instruments they need.

Funds will be placed in the Music Enhancement Fund. If the project does not meet its fundraising goal, receives more funds than needed, or cannot be completed, the funds will be used for the overall enhancement of the Department of Performing Arts and Technology. Gifts are received by the NC State University Foundation, Inc. and may be distributed to an affiliated foundation that manages the fund supported by the donor.
