Join in the Soar vs. Roar Challenge! On Saturday, December 16 at 11 a.m., the Ohio University Bobcats take on the Georgia Southern Eagles in the Myrtle Beach Bowl. In honor of this occasion and in support of our student athletes, our Universities have agreed to extend the competition beyond the athletic fields to bring the two communities together for a friendly (but ambitious) fundraising competition: a 24-hour online giving challenge we're calling Soar vs. Roar. We are asking everyone in the OHIO and Georgia Southern communities to make a gift to support our student athletes. The University with the greatest number of donors making gifts (of any size) between 2 p.m. Friday December 15 and 2 p.m. Saturday December 16 will win. This fun and friendly rivalry will bring our communities together in support of good sportsmanship and our student athletes on and off the court or field. The winning University gets those coveted bragging rights. Give NOW to the school of your choice, share with your fellow Bobcats and Eagles, and check back often to track the numbers in real time.
