Seacoast Community School has been a leader in early childhood education and after-school programs since our founding in 1967. We are a non-profit organization that offers high quality childcare to children ages 8 weeks to 12 years.
Our mission: To provide nurturing care and exceptional education for all children of the Seacoast.
To help provide access to all families, Seacoast Community School awards over $100,000 annually in scholarships to our families. This accounts for 32% of our currently enrolled students! Our Annual Fund makes up the difference between the cost of the program and the tuition revenue.
We are a vital part of the Seacoast community. Without access to quality childcare, families can not go to work. Having accessible, high quality care is good for children, families and the community!
Last year we enjoyed more support from our community than ever, and this year we hope to get even more donors. With your help, we can make it happen!
What your donation can do:
- $10 could supply a healthy breakfast to 4 children
- $50 could supply materials for 1-2 class projects
- $100 could pay for an all staff dinner
- $150 could pay for a wildlife visit to a PEAK site
- $350 could cover the bus cost of 1 PEAK field trip
- $500 could upgrade and expand our school library
- $1,000 could support purchasing all preschool meals for 2 days
Did you know??
- If 100 families donated $250 each, that money could be used to provide The Meadows with a new playground!
- If 100 families donated $10 each week, that would raise $50,000. That money could help 3 preschoolers attend SCS tuition free for a full year!
- If 130 families donated their normal tuition during the 2 SCS shutdown weeks, that would be enough to meet our annual goal which means ALL other money raised could be dispersed through scholarships, playground equipment, supplies, classroom upgrades, professional development, and more!
We reached our goal! But let's not stop there!
Also, congratulations to our 150th donor who helped us meet goal!

We are halfway through the day AND halfway to our goal!
Every donation makes a difference, no matter how big or small! Please continue to spread the word to help us meet (or exceed!) our goal of 150 donors!
Why do they work with young children?
Why did they choose this field of work?
Why are they here?
Our staff really make up the heart of Seacoast Community School. It is because of them that this school is such a wonderful place for our children to grow and learn! Here's what they have to say!
Big thank you to Caitlin, a current SCS parent, who shared her purpose for supporting Seacoast Community School this Giving Day. Caitlin also talks about our weekly giving program, which makes giving super easy!
