Our senior year is finally here, but not without some major bumps in the road. As we have learned over the last four years, coming together and supporting one another is what being part of the GW community means. Now it’s our time to support the next group of students to walk through Kogan by donating to the Senior Class Gift campaign.
The Senior Class Gift Campaign is your first step in the GW Alumni community. This is a long-standing tradition at GW since the 1980s and is a way for each class to leave their legacy on the university through philanthropic efforts. We’ve had our time at GW enriched through Greek Life, student organizations, professors, departments, and much more. After years of growth and new experiences, it's a chance to give back to the institution and community that helped shape us!
Maybe you were able to attend GW due to a scholarship, you can donate to a scholarship fund. Maybe you made your first friend on an intramural sports team, you can donate to intramural sports. The senior class gift is about YOU and what mark YOU want to leave at GW.

Why it is important to give back.
The Class of 2023, like all classes before us and those to come after, has been supported by the generosity of donors -- alumni, parents, friends, even faculty and staff, and fellow students to support our education.
Donors have made programs such as financial aid, campus programming, career services, the student food pantry, diversity and inclusion initiatives, the student emergency fund, and the annual fund available to students.
As we enter Alumni status, let’s get started on giving back.
What should I give to?
First, it's just important that you give at all! Any gift of any amount truly does make a difference.
Second, give to something that you care about. Pick something that made your experience at GW better, or that you want to help be better in the future! Where do you want to make a difference? Give there.
