Former UAB Basketball player Torrey Ward was not only a star on the court, but also a fixture in the Birmingham community. A much loved son, husband, father, and coach he was unfortunately taken from us too soon. In 2015, following his death, UAB created a scholarship in his name.
The Torrey Ward Legacy Endowed Scholarship provides an opportunity for student-athletes who embody Torrey's qualities of spirit and leadership. In honor of his 45th birthday this July, UAB and Torrey’s family are hoping to raise money for this scholarship and continue to help UAB student-athletes achieve their goals. Please support the future recipients of the Torrey Ward Endowed Scholarship by donating $45 today!
