In 1926, Ellen Browning Scripps was a woman ahead of her time. Her vision created one of a few colleges in the West dedicated to educating women for lives of commitment and engagement. Ms. Scripps understood the value in community and designed the College to reflect this key ideal.
This important campaign highlights that aspect of our founder's vision. Alumnae, families, and friends are encouraged to support and expand the experiences and programs of their choosing, directly affecting the lives of current students.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR SCRIPPS SWAG
- Thanks for your support: Every donor who has made or will make a gift between July 1, 2016 and June 30, 2017 will receive a tote bag featuring the design by Katie Van Heest '02.
- Celebrate Scripps' 90th anniversary: Each time the 90 gift goal is reached in a highlighted area, all donors are eligible for a drawing to win Scripps swag.
- Celebrate Scripps: Anyone who makes a gift around 19.26 (7:26 PM) will be entered into a drawing for special Scripps swag.
- Share Your Story: All Scripps community members who tag #OurRootsRunDeep on Facebook or Instagram and highlight the reasons they give back will be entered into a drawing for Scripps swag.
- Honor our new President, Lara Tiedens: Anyone who makes a gift at 9:00 AM or 9:00 PM, will be entered into a drawing to win Scripps swag.
