From community engagement course work with the campus Legacy Garden to being a MICAH Fellow at the Alameda Point Collaborative farm, I’ve grown an appreciation for fresh and organic produce. It has also shown me how much the agriculture industry has been impacted by fires, COVID, and climate change. Now, my head, heart and hands are invested in examining the relationship between food security, culture, and climate change in the context of bread and grain."
