Lady Cavalier Softball Locker Room

Thank you for supporting the BPCC Lady Cavalier Softball Team Locker Room Campaign. Bossier Parish Community College is a Division I member of the National Junior College Athletic Association. The Lady Cavaliers compete in the Region XIV, which is considered to be one of the top softball regions in the country. BPCC compiled a 42-19 record in 2019, which was the program’s third consecutive 40-plus win season, also a first in program history.

It is the vision of the BPCC Athletic Department to be the premier junior college in NJCAA DI Region XIV, and in the country. Since 2015, the foundation of excellence within the Lady Cavalier Softball program has continued to progress under head coach Amanda Nordberg. The Lady Cavalier Softball program has not only gained relevance in Region XIV, winning the East Conference in 2018, but has also garnered recognition at the national level, being ranked as high as 15th in the country.

Over the past four years, student athletes from all over the world including Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, California, Washington, Hawaii, Utah, Nevada and The Netherlands have chosen Bossier Parish Community College to receive a great education while playing collegiate softball. The Lady Cavalier Softball coaching staff has worked diligently to provide next level opportunities for 100% of student athletes after completion of their sophomore year.

The next step in the endeavor of excellence is the pursuit of facility upgrades. Growth of athletic facilities will support the continued efforts of recruiting and retaining the best student athletes to represent Bossier Parish Community College, on and off of the field. The addition of a team locker room will allow for the BPCC Softball program to gain the commitment of top prospective student athletes regionally and nationally. This project will allow for the Lady Cavaliers to prepare for daily practice and games in a custom design space just fifty yards from their home playing field.

With your support, we can complete this project prior to the start of the 2020 spring season. The goal of $20,000 will aid in the purchase of 24 custom wooden lockers, storage cabinets, washer, dryer, and laundry sink. Individual contributions of $500 will be permanently recognized on a custom wall plaque inside the Lady Cavalier Softball Locker Room.
