About

On January 14th, 2023, Baldwin’s NHS will be hosting our annual Next Generation sports event, where teams of different schools compete against each other in sports activities on campus as a fun and friendly competition!

This year NextGen is aiming to help fundraise for the nonprofit organization Lily’s Angels, a Down Syndrome Awareness Foundation based in Puerto Rico that strives to create a more inclusive world for those with Down Syndrome. From painting classes, to reading time, to giving a huge support system, Lily’s Angels has been able to help angels gain visibility within society, and help educate families with a lack of information and resources on how to care for their child and the necessary treatments they need. Nonetheless, therapy, special education, and doctors appointments for children with DS are extremely expensive and many find themselves unable to afford it. Therefore, Lily’s Angels enables these families to provide not only the necessary care, but the best possible resources available.

This being said, we need YOUR help to fundraise for this amazing cause and are looking for donations through the GiveCampus link below, in order to continue providing these incredible resources to those families in need. Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated to reach our goal of $5,000 raised for Lily’s Angels, and will go directly to supporting the organization’s efforts!

For more information on the event and fundraising efforts, please watch the video above. For any questions or doubts, feel free to contact NHS president Isabel Rodriguez (isrodriguez@baldwin-school.org) or NHS advisor Mrs. Laura Vielma at (lvielma@baldwin-school.org).

Be the change, Be the Next Generation.
