About

The Charger Baseball team will be swinging hard in the Second Annual Home Run Derby in an effort to raise support for new dugouts! Please consider helping the team complete its goal and finish the stadium improvement project!

As a fan of Charger Baseball, you already know how critical support from alumni, parents and friends is to its continued success. And, the team is certainly going strong--just this past May it won its first-ever conference tournament title with a 15-2 win over Kentucky Wesleyan.

Eight players will compete in bracketed, timed rounds to determine a champion. The team aims to raise $11,000 for the Dugout Fund. The names of this year’s hitters are listed under the designation fields, in case you know a player and would like to donate in his name. If not, feel free to designate your gift to the Baseball Stadium Improvement Fund.

We hope you will also consider joining us for the Derby on September 21, 2018 from 4-6 p.m. We will have music and an opportunity for guests to join in the fun and take some swings themselves. We plan to live stream the event, and will broadcast the link as we get closer.
