Alexis Feagley ’22 (religious studies major/museum studies minor): I am currently getting my MLIS degree online at Syracuse University while working full-time as the Archivist and Exhibition Curator for the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art in Halifax, PA. The gallery was integral in helping me understand the ins and outs of archival and curatorial work. It solidified for me the passion I have for this profession, and having a mentor who I felt comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning how to be a professional in the museum world helped me feel prepared to enter the workforce. I loved my time at SU, and being part of the gallery space was a significant reason it was so wonderful.
