The Ashley Schiff Preserve is a 26-acre "forever-wild" woodland nestled in the heart of Stony Brook University’s campus, located between Roth Quad and the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences (SoMAS). It serves as a natural bridge between the main West Campus and South Campus, with a primary trailhead and informational kiosk situated on Circle Road (directly across from Lake Drive). This living laboratory is home to over 180 species and unique glacial topography, offering a serene sanctuary for students and faculty alike.
