Support Clubs and Societies

Sport and student life have always been at the heart of Lincoln, shaping friendships, resilience, and the sense of belonging that so many alumni remember fondly. This tradition stretches back generations and is carried forward today across 32 Clubs and Societies, spanning sport, music, culture, and shared interests.

From rowing at dawn and competing at Bartlemas Road to rehearsing, performing, and discovering new passions, today’s students find confidence and connection through activities that welcome complete beginners as warmly as seasoned participants. These clubs and societies are where friendships are formed, confidence is built, and College life comes alive beyond the tutorial room.

As Owen Hopes, LCBC Treasurer (2024/25), reflects, “Lincoln College Boat Club is one of the few college societies which bring together members of the JCR and MCR, offering the ideal opportunity to get to know the Lincoln community better. It also provides a supportive and fun way to encourage people to stay active, providing an ideal break from work in the most stressful term.”

Your support ensures these opportunities remain open to everyone, regardless of background or experience. By giving to Sports and Societies this Giving Day, you are not simply funding equipment, travel, or facilities. You are sustaining a vibrant student culture built by generations of Lincolnites.

With your help, today’s students can continue to grow, compete, collaborate, and create the same lifelong memories that made your own time at Lincoln so special.

Please consider making a gift today as part of #LincolnGivingDay.
