"My involvement in Mariachi Del Centro means being able to further explore different music genres, being more knowledgeable in the cultures and traditions imbued with Mariachi Music and being able to collaborate with other people like me! It is always nice to get support because then we get to do fun trips like the Northwest Mariachi Festival. There, I feel included and get to have a lot of fun learning new music, new stories, and meeting new people. This club means a lot to me not just because I get to play guitar and sing, but because this club truly feels like a family to me. I wouldn’t know how my journey here in Central would be without them."
