Community of Care

The Community of Care Fund is intended to support students as they navigate college while addressing financial challenges that may arise. Many students face issues related to paying for everyday bills and life needs. The intention of this fund is to help students who may financially struggle to meet basic needs such as purchasing winter clothing, paying for rent or utilities, purchasing bedding, basic hygiene items and products, pots and pans, etc. This fund exists to support students in non-emergent situations so that they can continue their progress at BGSU and to ensure that no Falcon struggles with meeting their basic necessities.

The Student Emergency Fund

The Student Emergency Fund helps BGSU students who experience an accident, illness, financial hardship,or other emergency situations that may jeopardize their ability to continue their education. Through the generosity of donors from the BGSU community, this fund supports requests from our students, including: housing expenses, essential utilities, groceries, required class supplies including books and car expenses that impact a student’s ability to get to campus or required educational opportunities.
